For each of our oil and gas drilling investments, we concentrate on finding deeper oil and gas reservoirs that are typically a minimum depth of 12,000 feet deep. In our experience, shallow wells are often short-lived and offer less return on the investment dollar. While deeper wells require a larger investment, with the user of 3-D seismic in the Gulf Coast region, we are able to find major unproduced reservoirs. Larger reservoirs provide significant income over time and offer a higher return on the investment.
We also will only explore in areas where we have already proven our expertise, such as the Gulf Coast, both on and offshore. using the latest in technology (including 3-D seismic), the highest standards in geological, geophysical, and reservoir engineering, WWXploration principally drills where there are multiple proven sands that have the potential to hold millions of barrels of oil, and billions of cubic feet of gas. these types of oil and gas investment projects have the ability to produce for as long as 15 to 20 years.
